What makes a wiki is the free ability to edit any page, any time. Once you have an account, just hit the edit button and start typing. Anything. Type something at the bottom of this page and save it. That it's you've changed the page. It's live on the net!
Hopefully you typed something constructive. You did didn't you? Did it add any valuable information to the page or was it just random words like "hello there"? It doesn't matter, you can change it at any time. Just hit the edit button again and change your text into something a little more useful. If you reckon it's already useful enough, add some more, or update other bits of text. Edit THIS BIT into something more useful. Maybe some better grammar?
Editing is that simple. Just click edit and off you go. You can delete what you typed too. In fact you can also delete what OTHER people have typed. You can even delete these instructions! But you wouldn't want to do that now would you? We're all civil individuals living in a socially constructive society. we can respect each others work and contribute to building knowledge can't we? Ok, go on. Delete something...
You will notice that each time you make a change, that special change has been recorded in the history tab along the sides. Go there now and see what changes have been made and by whom. If you made a mistake and deleted or edited the wrong thing, you can revert the changes back to a previous version. If you think someone else's change was inappropriate or inaccurate, you can also revert their changes too.
This is the power of wikis. Free, easy changes. Simple change management.
This symbol is the RAD symbol, meaning it is cool or great.
(It would be nice to keep all your test posts under this line)
